Description
White ridge sits just outside the Ojito Wilderness in the high desert north of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Named for the white colored gypsum found all throughout the ridge, this area is like something out of an old Hollywood western. In the far distance you can make out the Sierra Nacimiento, a range within the southern Rocky Mountains. This is literally where the Colorado Plateau ends and the Rockies begin.
